We made it through our "three days of birthday fun," but the fourth day of birthday fun, wasn't so fun. In fact it was down right miserable. Tyler was supposed to have his "special day" at preschool on Tuesday and we had even made cupcakes to share with all his friends. He was a little grumpy when he went to bed Monday night, but I did not think too much of it. After all, he had had a busy couple of days and had not been getting enough sleep (it doesn't help that he thinks he is too old for a nap). About two o'clock that night he woke up with a stomach ache and ten minutes later was camped out in front of the toilet throwing up. YUCK! Turns out he had a nice case of rotavirus. It took about three days to run its course, but he is finally feeling better. The only good thing that came from it is now he is back to taking naps again!
